Namirial SafeAccess is the passwordless authentication suite for securing the workstations of small-to-medium-to-large organizations, even geographically distributed ones, with a scalable approach.
Based on the most stringent FIDO standards and the reliability of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), it provides for the use of a second passwordless authentication factor for access to enterprise systems.
The suite adapts to each individual organization with great flexibility: the second factor, in fact, is not predetermined or necessarily the same in all cases, but can be selected from a wide range of possibilities depending on the habits or needs of that specific context.

Namirial SafeAccess provides access to Windows workstations through passwordless technology and Multi-Factor Authentication, choosing an authentication method from several options: app, badge and token.
With a single strong credential, users can be enabled to access the workstations and different web and legacy apps.
The credential lifecycle can be managed centrally, through software provided to system admins, or independently by the user, who completes device registration and credential issuance with a self-enrollment app. A third credential management, completely transparent to both users and admins, involves running in the background according to rules set in Active Directory.

The hospital company “Ospedali Riuniti di Bergamo” needed a solution to solve password problems and secure access to workstations. In this case, Namirial SafeAccess made it possible to use the badge already assigned to the staff to access in maximum security and in full respect of privacy the PCs, the more than 50 applications in use in the facility and all the services (parking, canteen) eliminating forever the costs related to the management of password reset.
The Municipality of Bergamo needed to continue using the same badges as its staff, but increasing the level of security and ensuring maximum data protection. Today, thanks to Namirial SafeAccess, employees of the Municipality of Bergamo can use a single badge to detect presence, access locations, work in smart working and access applications, without having to remember or reset passwords, while remaining protected from cyber attacks.
Different authentication devices
As a second factor of authentication for employees and users, it is possible to use the device that best suits their needs, choosing to adopt a smartcard or token (USB or Bluetooth) or the company badge already in use, an app installed on their smartphone or, again, a FIDO-certified device, either already in their possession or provided by the company.
