This webinar, organized by Namirial and held on July 23 in Spanish, explored how the expansion of artificial intelligence and the rise of autonomous agents are transforming the way organizations manage digital trust.
The session featured Ivan Basart, Authentic. Cert Comm & Signature SP Director, who presented KYA (Know Your Agent), Namirial’s proposed new digital trust framework designed to address the challenges associated with AI agents acting on behalf of individuals and organizations.
The webinar examined why traditional KYC and KYB approaches are no longer sufficient in an environment where actions can be autonomously executed by AI agents. Key topics included agent identity, representation, and authorization, as well as the need to determine who the agent is, whom it represents, and which actions it is authorized to perform.
The session also explored the importance of auditable traceability of actions performed by AI agents, particularly in critical sectors such as banking, insurance, and public administration, where regulatory compliance and the ability to demonstrate what happened, who authorized it, and when it occurred are essential.
Finally, emerging threats such as deepfakes, synthetic identities, and automated fraud were examined, highlighting how these new risks reinforce the need for a new layer of digital trust based on KYA.
