On 2 January 2027, d-you, Germany’s national EUDI Wallet, goes live, initially with the digital ID (PID) and first attestations. Public bodies will then have to accept it. From 24 December 2027, the obligation also applies to private service providers required to use strong user authentication, such as banks, insurers, energy, telecommunications, transport and healthcare. For many organisations, the question is no longer “if”, but: who is responsible for this in our organisation – and what will it cost in 2027?
In this free webinar, Claus Harthertz (adesso) and Jörg Lenz (Namirial) show what needs to be done now: clarifying responsibilities and resources, realistically assessing the timeline and scope of functions, avoiding typical mistakes when onboarding as a relying party, and planning the connection approach and budget items for 2027. You will also get updates and new insights from the Smart Country Convention, plus use cases showing how organisations can issue credentials into the wallet themselves. The webinar will be held in German.
Target audience: digitalisation, enterprise architecture and IT, product and onboarding, as well as compliance, anti-money laundering and data protection at banks, payment service providers, insurers and other organisations that will act as relying parties in the future.
