Meet Namirial at the Nordic Fintech Summit 2026

The Nordic Fintech Summit is the most important gathering in the Nordic fintech scene – and at the same time a strategic gateway into the European market. Taking place from 20 to 22 May 2026 in Helsinki, the event brings together over 800 decision-makers, banking and fintech executives, investors, and regulators to exchange intelligence on strategy, innovation, and market development at the highest level.

The 2026 agenda covers a broad range of topics – from Open Finance and FIDA to payments and digital banking through to RegTech, compliance, and digital wallets. Particularly relevant for Namirial: the tracks on RegTech, Security & Compliance as well as Wallets, mobile-first experiences, and the tokenised customer journey – areas where the requirements introduced by eIDAS 2.0 and the upcoming rollout of the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI Wallet) play a central role.

From May 2026 onwards, all organisations issuing qualified certificates remotely must comply with the new eIDAS 2 requirements – many solutions currently considered sufficiently secure at a “substantial” level of assurance will need to evolve to a “high” security level. At the same time, the new AML Regulation introduces stricter requirements around Customer Due Diligence and ongoing monitoring. For financial institutions in the Nordic markets – which are often seen as regulatory frontrunners – these are particularly pressing questions.

How Namirial can help

As the largest provider of qualified trust services in Europe, Namirial is ideally positioned to support financial institutions through this transition. The Namirial Onboarding Suite has been officially certified under the new eIDAS 2 requirements, making it one of the first European providers already fully prepared for the new rules. The platform checks both physical and chip-based electronic documents, uses certified biometric technologies to detect and block fraud attempts – including sophisticated digital manipulation – and integrates existing national digital identity schemes.

In addition, the Namirial Wallet Platform is designed to support organisations in the issuance, management, and verification of digital identity and attribute credentials – fully compliant with the new eIDAS standards and the EUDI Wallet architecture. Namirial’s end-to-end platform covers digital onboarding, qualified electronic signatures, trust services, and wallet integration – enabling organisations to turn regulatory complexity into operational efficiency and leverage compliance as a genuine competitive advantage.
