The ENISA Trust Services and eID Forum brings together regulatory authorities, national wallet initiatives, trust service providers, digital identity solution providers, standardization bodies, certification organizations, and businesses preparing for integration of digital identities – with a particular focus on the implementation of eIDAS 2.0 and the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI Wallet).
This event offers a key platform for addressing legal, technical, and operational questions at the heart of Europe’s evolving identity and trust service ecosystem – both in the public and private sectors.
Namirial is proud to participate once again in the ENISA Trust Services and eID Forum – one of Europe’s most relevant events for digital identity, trust services and eIDAS implementation.
The 2025 edition of the forum comes at a pivotal time:
- The first implementing acts under eIDAS 2.0 have been published
- Technical standards are being drafted
- Large Scale Pilots (LSPs) are delivering key insights and feedback
For many organizations, this moment marks a strategic turning point: the path to EUDI Wallet integration is becoming tangible, and the decisions made today will shape their role in the future digital identity landscape.
The agenda focuses on critical questions related to:
- Role allocation within the EUDI Wallet ecosystem
- Legally valid identification and authentication
- Evolution of reference architecture based on LSP findings
- Standardization work in ETSI-ESI and CEN CENELEC
- Certification of trust services for wallet integration
- National wallet initiatives and their alignment with EU-wide goals
- Impacts on key industries: finance, insurance, telecom, and more
According to our updated eIDAS 2.0 implementation timeline (as of June 2025), the forum coincides with the rollout of the first three batches of implementing acts (April–July), ongoing architecture updates, and feedback loops within the reference wallet and LSPs.
At Namirial, we actively contribute to the development of the EUDI Wallet ecosystem – combining deep technical know-how with regulatory expertise.
Our contributions include:
- Active participation in EU standardization bodies (ETSI for example)
- Involvement in Large Scale Pilots and EU-funded consortia
- Development of interoperable, modular components for EUDI Wallet integration
- Proven experience with qualified signatures, seals, and electronic identity services
We empower public and private sector organizations to implement legally valid, scalable, and future-proof digital identity solutions.
