Namirial announces Max Pellegrini as new CEO

Major focus on further optimization of business organization and accelerating growth in booming market of Digital Trust Services

SENIGALLIA – September 24, 2020 – Namirial S.p.A. (“Namirial”), a leading provider of software solutions and digital trust services is announcing the appointment of Max Pellegrini as its new CEO, effective immediately. Enrico Giacomelli, co-founder of Namirial, remains on board and continues to support the development of the company. Max and Enrico will be writing the next chapters of the Namirial success story together with the majority shareholder Ambienta SGR S.p.A. (“Ambienta”), Europe’s largest sustainability focused private equity investor.

The initial focus of Max Pellegrini will be to transform Namirial from a successful entrepreneurial company into a professionally run leader in the booming market of Digital Trust Services.

The digital transformation made possible by Namirial solutions allows to manage business transactions in a more sustainable way, without using paper and minimizing logistic costs. It is estimated, in fact, that Namirial has allowed a saving of around 9,000 tons of paper in 2019 alone. Namirial solutions are also enabling drastic reductions of energy consumption and emissions as less travel is required for both, people and paper documents.

Max Pellegrini’s experience, gained first in Italy and then in the USA, has always been focused on innovation and digital transformation. Immediately after graduating in Economics in Florence, Pellegrini started a first Italian experience in Andersen Consulting (the current Accenture) and subsequently joined the Florentine start-up Dada, initially as Chief Revenue Officer, where he contributed to the IPO and the expansion process and M&A first in Italy and then abroad, becoming Managing Director International Business. In 2007 he moved to New York where he became CEO of Dada Entertainment and later of In 2011 he joined Buongiorno as Managing Director North America and in 2013 he moved to RealNetworks Inc, with the position of President which he held until September of this year, when he became the CEO of Namirial.
