This white paper presents the significant results achieved by Namirial in the field of digital security in the age of quantum computers.
Namirial is the first industrial player in the trust services sector to concretely demonstrate the impact of quantum computers on public-key cryptographic systems, as well as to analyze and propose the adoption of technologies capable of countering this threat through a comprehensive, integrated, and multidimensional approach.
In particular, the document illustrates the following results:
- the use of a real quantum computer to break an RSA cryptographic key;
- the performance analysis of post-quantum cryptography algorithms, aimed at ensuring a long-term level of security, with results presented at the NIST conference dedicated to the standardization of these technologies;
- the creation of a training and experimental portal for Namirial customers, enabling them to understand the scope of the quantum threat and directly test the applicability of the proposed solutions;
- the development of an advanced integration model between post-quantum cryptography and quantum networks for key distribution.
This work positions Namirial as an industrial enabler of the post-quantum transition, anticipating a change that is no longer optional but necessary to ensure trust, legal validity, and long-term data protection.
