On November 18, 2025, DigiFin25 will take place in Berlin, a conference bringing together experts from politics, the financial sector, technology, regulatory authorities, and civil society. The event addresses key issues of digital transformation in finance – ranging from new technologies and security questions to regulatory developments. It is aimed at professionals and decision-makers who want to gain concrete insights into current trends and practical solutions shaping the future of the financial sector.
Namirial will be represented at DigiFin25 by Klaus Fellner, Christoph Bimminger, and Sarah Boatto. In addition, Klaus Fellner and Christoph Bimminger will present a keynote with the titel “Wallets for European Digital Identities and Anti-Money Laundering Regulations: Groundbreaking improvements for the user experience in KYC, onboarding, and signature processes”.
The European Union’s initiative for an EUDI Wallet aims to provide citizens and businesses with a trustworthy tool to manage digital identities and credentials. It is designed to allow secure presentation of identity data and attributes, enable electronic signatures, and support the use of digital credentials across borders. In doing so, the wallet creates the basis for a unified and interoperable solution that will be legally valid throughout all member states.
Namirial contributes to making this vision a reality with its Wallet Platform. The solution supports organizations in integrating the EUDI Wallet, enables the use of qualified electronic signatures, provides infrastructure for electronic attribute attestations, and offers flexible white-label options for setting up their own wallet services. The goal is to deliver secure and legally valid digital identity processes that meet regulatory requirements while remaining user-friendly.
During the presentation on the EUDI Wallet, Namirial will share the perspective of a qualified trust service provider. Key topics will include regulatory frameworks, technical feasibility, interoperability between national solutions, and the importance of usability and acceptance.
The keynote will also highlight how banks, insurers, and public authorities can benefit from wallet-based processes by streamlining workflows while ensuring trust and legal certainty. Participants will gain a nuanced understanding of both the potential and the challenges linked to the implementation of the EUDI Wallet.
DigiFin25 provides the ideal platform to debate the role of digital identity for Europe’s financial sector. With Namirial’s participation and contribution to the panel on the EUDI Wallet, a central topic for the future will be addressed—one that will have a significant impact far beyond the financial industry.
