Senigallia, 13 November 2025 – Namirial S.p.A., a European leader in Digital Trust solutions, proudly announces the achievement of two new ISO 14067:2018 certifications issued by Bureau Veritas Italia S.p.A., which certify the reporting of the comparative Carbon Footprint (CFP) for Certified Email (PEC) and digital Onboarding services, compared with their respective analog equivalents.
These certifications add to the one already obtained for digital signatures, strengthening Namirial’s position as a responsible player in the ecological transition and sustainable digitalization.
Certified results
- Average digital PEC by Namirial: 18.952 grams of CO₂e
- Equivalent analog registered mail: 151.881 grams of CO₂e
Climate impact: 8 times lower for digital PEC
- Average digital onboarding by Namirial: 29.757 grams of CO₂e
- Equivalent analog onboarding: 393.071 grams of CO₂e
Climate impact: 13.2 times lower for digital onboarding
The ISO 14067:2018 certification recognizes the environmental benefits of Namirial solutions by measuring the emissions impact along the lifecycle of digital services compared to analog processes. As with digital signatures, a conservative approach was adopted in the study, which overestimated digital emissions and underestimated analog emissions, rigorously confirming the contribution of Namirial solutions to reducing environmental impact.
“These certifications are not just a technical milestone, but a clear message to the market: digitalization can and must be sustainable. Namirial shows that innovation and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand, generating value for our clients, their users, and the entire planet,” said Luigi Enrico Tomasini, Process Innovation, Compliance, ESG & AEC Software Director.
