Namirial will participate in the 2025 Final Conference of the Digital Identity Observatory, which will be hel in Milan on November 11, 2025, at Politecnico – Aula de Carli. Titled “Identity Wallet: Near Future or Distant Vision?”, the event is dedicated to one of the most pivotal themes shaping the future of digital services: the evolution of digital identity and the advent of the new Digital Identity Wallets.

The year 2025 marks a key step in preparing for the launch of the first EUDI Wallets, the result of extensive European collaboration among consortia and national governments to build a shared digital identity infrastructure. As regulatory and technical aspects are refined, each country continues to define its national strategy and implement domestic solutions.

In Italy, the public IT Wallet, introduced in 2024, enters a new phase of development, as citizens and businesses begin to embrace the potential of a secure, interoperable, and user-centric digital ecosystem.

The conference will address key questions such as:

  • the current status and evolution of SPID and CIE;
  • strategies by governments and private players to move towards wallet-based identity models;
  • the opportunities and challenges of EUDI Wallets for businesses and citizens;
  • the major trends shaping the next decade of digital identity.

During the event, Matteo Panfilo, Product Strategy Director at Namirial, will join the final discussion panel to comment on the findings of the 2025 Research and share Namirial’s vision for the future of digital identity in Europe.
