Meet Namirial at eIDAS Summit

The eIDAS Summit brings together experts from government, business, and technology to discuss key developments in digital identity, trust services, and the future of secure digital interactions. The event takes place on 28 April 2026 on site in Berlin (German-language) and continues online on 29 April 2026 with an international focus.

Namirial will contribute a session addressing a topic currently top of mind for many regulated industries: how to design KYC/KYB identity and business verification so that it is compliant, efficient, and user-friendly—without unnecessary complexity and without high drop-off rates during onboarding.

Namirial session: KYC / KYB – finally simple – thanks to AMLR and the EUDI Wallet and EU Business Wallet?

Our session at eIDAS Summit 2026 – with Jörg Lenz, Head of Marketing and Comunication, and Klaus Fellner, Managing Director Namirial Austria – is aimed at everyone working on the legal, technical, economic, and cultural aspects of integrating and improving digital identity and identification checks within business processes, especially in regulated sectors. At its core are the requirements to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing under EU Regulation 2024/1624 (AMLR), and the question of how these requirements can be implemented more effectively in practice as new European frameworks take shape.

At the same time, the discussion reflects operational reality: processes must not only meet regulatory expectations, but also reduce operating costs and minimise friction. In onboarding journeys in particular, user experience often determines whether a process is completed, or abandoned. This panel explores where developments around EUDI Wallets and the AMLR can genuinely ease implementation, and where expectations need a realistic reality check.

Topics and key questions

The panel provides a reality check on the current state and outlook for EUDI Wallets and the AMLR, and highlights what will change, and when, for KYC/KYB and the use of electronic signatures. Topics include:

  • EUDI Wallet and European Business Wallet: What impact will digital wallets for standardised European identities for EU citizens—and the European Business Wallet—actually have in this context, and when?
  • Electronic attributes: How will electronic attributes accelerate onboarding and enable new use cases?
  • Large-scale pilot projects: What is currently being tested in the large-scale pilot projects for EUDI wallet prototypes?
  • Outlook 2026/27: How will the anti-money laundering regulation in 2026/27 change the rules of the game?
  • Best practices: What best practices support simple and compliant implementations from 2026 onwards and beyond?

Who should attend?

This session is particularly relevant for those responsible for identity and identification checks and end-to-end processes in regulated environments—especially across KYC/KYB, onboarding, compliance, risk and process management, and the continuous improvement of digital customer journeys. The focus goes beyond regulation and technology to include how change can be embedded in organisations in a way that is economically sound and culturally sustainable.

We look forward to meeting you – on site in Berlin and online. Further information and tickets are available on the eIDAS Summit website.
