Meet Namirial at the GLEIF Global Forum on Digital Organizational Identity

The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) convenes public- and private-sector leaders for a full-day program dedicated to the future of digital organizational identity. The Forum serves as a high-level platform for exchanging perspectives on policy objectives, market needs, and governance models that will shape secure and interoperable identity systems for a data-driven global economy. It also marks the final stage of the 2025 GLEIF vLEI Hackathon, where Finalists from Theme 2 – Industry 4.0 – present their prototypes live, with awards announced at the closing session.

The Forum addresses policymakers, regulators, digital-economy strategists, digital-identity experts, compliance officers, cybersecurity professionals, providers of trust services and eID solutions, as well as corporate leaders advancing Industry 4.0, supply-chain automation, and data-governance innovation. Technical architects, standardization specialists, and research institutions will also find an in-depth environment for discussion and knowledge exchange.

A series of keynotes by senior representatives from Digital Ministries and Central Banks will outline the strategic role of digital public infrastructure in enabling trust, growth, and competitiveness. Expert panels will examine how digital-policy frameworks translate into functioning markets, and how emerging architectures can support AI-enabled services, cross-border data flows, and automated compliance.

Further sessions include debates on AI-driven caller-ID solutions, practical pathways toward “interoperability by design” in digital public infrastructure, and insights from the GFTN Roundtables on shaping next-generation governance principles. The Hackathon finalists will showcase cutting-edge verifiable identity solutions addressing Know-Your-Business (KYB) processes, IoT environments, and next-generation supply-chain reporting.

At 4:00 pm, Luigi Castaldo, Product Director Namirial Wallet Ecosystem, will join the Roundtable: “Policy Objectives & Market Dynamics in Trusted Identity and Data.” His contribution will focus on how emerging regulations – such as the forthcoming European Business Wallet as proposed by the European Commission on November 19 – can harmonize trust services, digital credentials, and organizational identity at scale. Luigi will discuss operational governance challenges, sequencing of regulatory instruments, and the economic dynamics required to ensure competitive, interoperable markets for digital identity across Europe and beyond.

This panel compares regulatory frameworks and real-world implementations across jurisdictions, exploring how policy choices influence governance models and technical architectures. Discussion topics include compatibility of emerging approaches, strategic sequencing of policy tools, and the development of trusted, interoperable credentials for organizations. Central questions concern how digital organizational identities can drive inclusive participation, reduce friction in cross-border processes, and support a productive digital and data-driven economy.

GLEIF, headquartered in Basel and initiated by the G20 and the Financial Stability Board, oversees the global ISO standards for Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs). With more than three million LEIs issued worldwide and their use mandated across numerous regulatory frameworks – including DORA – the LEI ecosystem is becoming a foundational element in digital organizational identity.
