Luigi Castaldo serves as Director of the Wallet Ecosystem & Certified Communication Business Unit, where he leads key strategic initiatives aligned with the European Digital Identity framework.

Bringing over 15 years of international expertise, Luigi has directed major projects throughout Europe and the Middle East in digital identity, trust services and PKI infrastructures. He has managed intricate government and enterprise identity programs, including national initiatives and EU-funded projects. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions in the UK technology sector, collaborating with global industry leaders such as Intel, Samsung and ARM. He also gained consulting experience at Accenture, working on transformation and IT modernization initiatives.

Luigi leverages his technical expertise and strategic acumen to drive the advancement of secure, user-centric identity solutions on an international scale.
