Project report on electronic signature integration in UniCredit Bank Austria omnichannel customer onboarding processes powered by Namirial solutions – presented at the Innovation Summit Banking & Insurance (ISBI) by Mag. Gerhard Lindebner, Head of Digital and Transformation Processes, UniCredit Bank Austria AG.
UniCredit Bank Austria was able to largely digitize the account opening processes. Online identification of new customers and the signing of documents based on certificates for short-term certificates (also known as disposable certificates) are playing a key role.
The lecture by Mag. Gerhard Lindebner highlighted among other things:
- Criteria for selecting the ideal solution – according to the process steps online and in the branch and their legal framework
- The role of signature workflows, trust services and services for online identification of new customers
- Today’s process for legitimation and signature and the most important advantages of the procedures now in use
- Challenges and opportunities for the further optimization of the processes in customer onboarding – in particular the possibilities through electronic identities as well as identification by means of qualified electronic signature and self-ident
