At the eIDAS Summit, executives from the private sector and public administration will learn about the latest offerings and developments around identification, digital identities, authentication procedures, and the provision and use of certificates to generate electronic signatures and seals. Legal, technical and organizational requirements for trustworthy digitization of processes in companies and administration will be intensively examined.
Options for use of trust services will be presented in sector-specific workshops in the afternoon. Namirial’s Jörg Lenz will be providing in the workshop for Financial Services practical insights on “How QES works in practice at the POS in Germany – e.g. Orchestration of compliance with anti-money laundry law ” It is presented how remote signatures can be easily integrated into existing processes for the generation of qualified electronic signatures (QES) and make processes significantly more user-friendly. For example, the use of qualified electronic signatures in Germany is legally required for legally binding paperless financial statements for the conclusion of credit agreements.
